WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT
Tucson’s Casas Adobes VFW Post and Auxiliary 10188
presented a donation to Deborah Brookshire, Volunteer
Services manager at the Southern VA Health Care System. The donation
was to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) in memory of Sergeant
Charles Browning, who was KIA recently in Iraq. Post-10188 Commander
Mike O’Daniels and President Eileen Bedel, with
Auxiliary-10188 Hospital Chair Buri Lee Moore, met with
Deborah at the SVAHCS courtyard. Deborah observed that Iraq and
Afghanistan veterans are very interested in internet access, and
Deborah pledged that the VFW donation would be applied to computer
equipment for the wounded veterans.
