Welcome Home National Guard Troops

The first wave of Arizona National Guard I/285th Unit has returned from their deployment in Afghanistan. On hand to welcome them home were hundreds of family, friends, the Patriot Riders, Red Cross ‘Rescue Dog’ and members of the VFW and the Veterans and Family Support (V&FS) planning committee; including District-5 Commander and President Bruce & Pam Spencer, LAVFW-10188 Gary & Chrissy Harlan; with V&FS Chair and LAVFW Kim Sloan, with considerable coverage by local media. The next wave of Arizona National Guard soldiers return home next week, in Phoenix, where Gary and Chrissy will be-there to welcome her son home. The third and last wave will return by early February.
