November 11, 2007 we held our annual Veteran's Day Flag Raising Ceremony at our post. This year our post is hosting a local Cub Scout Troop 364.

Comrade Roseberry is our Youth Activities Chairman and Comrade Gates is the scout liaison for the troop. Both Comrade Roseberry and Gates showed the Cub Scouts the proper way to fold the American Flag.

Next came time for the Flag raising ceremony and the Cub Scout Troop 364 helped in presenting the Colors to all those who were there. Commander Madrid spoke on how important it is to honor our Veterans and one way is by participating in our annual Flag raising ceremony.

Next came the retirement of our Flags. Cub Scout Troop 364 prepared the Flags for their final resting place. At the end of the day's activities, Comrade Gates presented a Flag to Cub Scout Troop 364 from VFW Post 10254. We had heard this troop did not even have their own Flag. We had a Flag donated to the Post to be given to our Cub Scout Troop 364.
