Native American Code Talker Day VFW Post 1677 Casa Grande Arizona

Native American Code Talker Day Event which was sponsored by the VFW Post 1677 , Aug 18, 2007, Peart Park , Casa Grande.  There were numerous color guards from different organizations.  Speakers included Casa Grande Mayor Bob Jackson, Pinal County Sheriff Chris Vasquez, Honorable Cheryl Chase - former Arizona Legislature, Pinal County Supervisor David Snider.  VFW POST 1677 Commander Cecil Ahliel and Post Auxiliary President Diane Philippi kicked off the event.
WWII, USMC, life member of Post 1677, Navajo Code Talker Samuel Tso  and USMC, WWII Navajo Code Talker and Paratrooper, Sidney Bedoni were the Special Guests. Both spoke about how there experiences becoming a Code Talker and the War. Luncheon followed at the Post where both guests were greeted with honors.  Master of Ceremonies: Palmer Miller
