VFW Post 9972 Sierra Vista, Arizona

VFW Riders Sky Islands chapter (VFW Riders), VFW Post 9972, Sierra Vista, Arizona, and the American Legion Riders (ALR) escorted part of the 86th Signal Brigade back from  Tucson Airport on Monday, 8 October, 2007. 

An all Veterans Group went to Tucson Airport and brought the advance group of 10 soldiers home from their deployment to Iraq.  Betty Gripp, the first female VFW Commander for the state of Arizona joined the group  in welcoming the soldiers home at the Tucson Airport where she passed out calling cards form the VFW State of Arizona and the Ladies Auxiliary of the State of Arizona, and thanking the soldiers from the advance party for what they did when deployed to Iraq.   The 11 Signal Brigade is the adopted unit of VFW Post 9972, Sierra Vista, AZ.
