The 1^st Annual District 8 Pig in the Ground Luau Hospital Benefit was chaired by District 8 President Sally Smalley.  Due to several unforeseen circumstances, including a fire, the event location was changed several times.  Finally, on March 31st Mohave Valley Post 404 was invaded by District 8 in mass force.  Proceeds from this event will benefit Arizona VA Hospitals.  Veterans helping Veterans is alive and well in District 8.
