Post Commander Dominic “Nick” Tamillio, Ladies Auxiliary President
Ruth Tamillio, and members served coffee, milk, and donuts in the
morning and served lunch and pop in the afternoon to the 301st
MI BN and their families. They also set up a room in the post with
a babysitter from the 301st MI BN to watch the children
while their parents are busy. The babysitter kept the children very
busy with all kinds of games and a big screen TV. The VFW and
Auxiliary members handed out to the 301st NI BN and
family members for their children, safety tips , rulers,
citizenship education worksheets, Pledge of Allegiance coloring
books, pencils, Just Say No to Alcohol and Drugs coloring books,
Patriots Pen brochure, Voice of Democracy brochure and much more.
This all took place on August 18, 2007 9am-1pm.
