Mother's Day VFW Post 1677

Chef Janie:  As in years past, Post 1677 added a Mothers' Day Special to their Sunday Breakfast:  Chef Janie Miller (Yes, she can Chef to her credentials) prepared fresh waffles with fruit and cream and pretty presentation for mothers and whoever else wanted this sweet plate for breakfast.  Dorothy Neitzer can always be relied upon to help on Sundays with additional baked goods.

It is the end of the year for us as well as for the students in Coolidge High School.  The Marine Corps JROTC held their first separate Awards Banquet in the school cafeteria.  Among all the awards presented was the VFW JROTC award which 3713 Commander Barry Leonard presented to Cadet 1LT Rodrick O. Williams.
